I wore black leggings and a navy blue shirt that has Edward Scissorhands in the style of Van Gogh

Pj at home.

It's comfy and not much hassle.

I need to actually care about how I look.

It depends on how badly you want to flash people all the time. And, seeing as she's your girlfriend, do you really want that?

Seriously, don't underestimate the effort that goes into wearing skirts and dresses (especially if your dress is the sort that is always threatening to slip or you have to wear a strapless bra).

Honestly, I love skirts and dresses, but I wear them for myself—not for others.

Today is Saturday. So all day pjs.

I actually think most skirts are ugly. I just happen to have some cute ones. :)

I kind of don't care how I sit since I go to a girl's school. :eh: lol. I mean, I don't flash people, but if I sit with my knees up while sitting at a desk, I just look hip and risque. Y-Y :sigh:

Oh. I forgot to say what I wore. O_O Today I wore a fitted hemp button-up with pink and grey stripes, and some black capris. I was shadowing, so I had to be business casual @_@.

I think you misunderstood my "*cough*" post.. >.>
bluntly put: I used to crossdress. Never once thought dresses and skirts were a hassle. Just "pretty" or "cute" or "fun (*twirls*)"

====

What I typically wear: straight-fit jeans, a belt (either black, brown, or beige/brown), underwear that matches my shirt (tmi, I know), shoes that fit the overall mood (I have 5 pairs of shoes), and a shirt (either v-neck t-shirt or button down long-sleeve).
If sunny, then I wear KC2086 sunglasses.

I try to keep my outer appearance cool and confident, even if I'm not completely there yet.
It's not fake, it's a goal. xD

Ahahah. I think I kinda remember Kettles describing his outfitwear one time in JanimeS.

Today I just wore a blouse and jeans to look presentable for my first day at the coffeehouse for work as a barista. Hm. Either my pants have stretched out a lot due to the wash cycles in the machines here or my waist has shrunk a bit because I lose weight without doing anything -.- (except maybe not eating all that much). It might be both, but anyway, my jeans sag...

The other day more of note Arro dressed me in a hot pink knitted tank top and a long loose green skirt with huge pockets. People commented that I looked like a watermelon. :) T_T

I think above poster has a point in his desire to use clothes to project confidence and coolness. Everyone has a starting point, especially if they are introverted like me. I wish I could pick my wardrobe (currently made of mismatched although nice clothes from donation) to give me a little more confidence to project an aloof personality (as opposed to uncertain/slightly out of place) but it's expensive to retool my whole closet so I'm holding off on it. Hmmmm.
